Cricket Investigation

Question: Do crickets prefer wet or dry environments?
Hypothesis: If i have one side of the tank dry and the other side wet then i think the cricket would stay on the wet side because it would be more comfortable.
Background Research: To survive crickets need a place to stay such as under a rock and in a log in meadows. Crickets need food, they're omnivores so the eat plants and animals. They also need warmth and a good environment to live in.

In our investigation we have a cricket and see which side it likes better wet or dry. We was keeping track of it by using method 2 which is putting dots down everywhere the cricket stopped. We cut a paper towel in half and put one on each side. Then we wet one paper towel on one side and left the other one dry. We then got the cricket put it in the tank and recored data using method 2.

Our cricket did not want to stay one place it was on the wet and dry side so we don't know which side it liked better. The cricket was just going around and around from the dry and wet side. This was a good method because we saw everywhere the cricket stopped and how fast it moved.
